Interactions / Warnings:

Taking Diclofenac+Paracetamol / Acetaminophen+Dextropropoxyphene with alcohol can cause liver damage.

Pregnancy interaction:

Novodec Injection is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.

Side Effects:

Nausea, Vomiting, Indigestion, Stomach pain, Loss of appetite, Dizziness, Sleepiness, Heartburn.

How to use:

Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self administer.

How it works:

Novodec Injection is a combination of three medicines: Diclofenac, Paracetamol / Acetaminophen and Dextropropoxyphene which relieve pain. Diclofenac and Paracetamol / Acetaminophen work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain. Dextropropoxyphene works by blocking transmission of pain signals to the brain to lower pain perception.
