Interactions / Warnings:

Taking repaglinide with alcohol may affect blood glucose levels in patients with diabetes.

Pregnancy interaction:

Novonorm 1mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Novonorm results in fast and effective control of high blood sugar following meals. For best results, take Novonorm 15 to 30 minutes before a meal. If you miss a meal, skip your dose to avoid hypoglycemia (low blood sugar level). You should continue to exercise regularly, eat a healthy diet, and take your other diabetes medicines along with Novonorm Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar level) is a common side-effect; learn how to identify and manage its symptoms (sweating, rapid heartbeat, weakness, blurry vision, headache) and teach your family as well.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Novonorm 1mg Tablet- 15 may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Novonorm 1mg Tablet is an anti-diabetic medication. It increases the amount of insulin released by the pancreas which prevents blood glucose from rising very high after meals.
