Interactions / Warnings:

Taking Hydrochlorothiazide with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.

Pregnancy interaction:

Numlo-D 2.5mg/12.5mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Side Effects:

Glucose intolerance, Sleepiness, Headache, Flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck and trunk), Tiredness, Palpitations, Nausea, Increased blood uric acid, Decreased potassium level in blood, Altered blood lipids.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Numlo-D Tablet- 15 may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Numlo-D 2.5mg/12.5mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Amlodipine and hydrochlorothiazide which lower blood pressure effectively.tAmlodipine is a calcium channel blocker which relaxes blood vessels and makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic which removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body by increasing the amount of urine produced. Over time it also works by relaxing blood vessels and improving blood flow.
