Osteri 750mcg Solution for Injection may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Expert advice:

Your doctor has prescribed Osteri to make your bones stronger, and lower the risk of fractures. Inject it every day under the skin (subcutaneous injection) of the thigh or abdomen. Do not take it for more than 8 to 24 months. You may have low blood pressure and dizziness during the initial few days. If you feel dizzy (light-headed) after injection, sit or lie down until you feel better. Tell your doctor immediately if you experience nausea, vomiting, constipation, low energy, or muscle weakness. These may be signs of high calcium levels in your blood. Tell your doctor if you are breastfeeding, pregnant or plan to become pregnant.
