Description:

Ostigard 100 Capsule is a pain relieving medicine. It is used to reduce pain and inflammation in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and osteoarthritis. It may also be used to relieve muscle pain, back pain, toothache, or pain in the ear and throat.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ostigard 100 Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Ostigard 100 Capsule is a combination of two medicines: celecoxib and diacerein which relieve pain. Celecoxib is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Diacerein is a proteoglycan synthesis stimulator which also blocks the chemicals that cause inflammation and pain and helps in the building of cartilage (soft tissue around the joints) in the body.
