Interactions / Warnings:

Taking a large amount of alcohol can increase acidity and cause acid reflux in the food pipe causing heartburn. This would decrease the effect of this drug and can aggravate your underlying condition.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Panplus IT 40 mg/150 mg Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Panplus IT 40 mg/150 mg Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Pantoprazole and Itopride which relieve symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps relieve acid-related indigestion and heartburn. Itopride is a prokinetic which works on the region in the brain that controls vomiting. It also acts on the upper digestive tract and helps food move more easily through the stomach.
