Pre Aldonil 75 Tablet SR may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.

Pregnancy interaction:

Pre Aldonil 75 Tablet SR may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Side Effects:

Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Drowsiness, Dizziness, Uncoordinated body movements, Increased liver enzymes.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Pre Aldonil 75 Tablet SR may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Pre Aldonil 75 Tablet SR is a combination of two medicines: Epalrestat and Pregabalin which treat neuropathic pain. Epalrestat is an aldose reductase inhibitor. It blocks the accumulation of sorbitol in cells, which causes diabetic nerve disease. Pregabalin is an alpha 2 delta ligand which decreases pain by modulating calcium channel activity of the nerve cells.
