Description:

Prodoxime LB Tablet is a combination medicine that is used to treat various types of bacterial infections. It fights against the microorganisms to prevent their growth and further spread of the infection. It also prevents diarrhea which may occur as side effect of this medicine.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Prodoxime LB Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Prodoxime LB Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Cefpodoxime and Clavulanic Acid. Cefpodoxime is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Cefpodoxime against bacteria.
