Interactions / Warnings:

Pxn 25mg Tablet SR may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.

Pregnancy interaction:

Pxn 25mg Tablet SR is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy.Human and animal studies have shown significant adverse effects on the foetus. Please consult your doctor.

Expert advice:

It can take 2-3 weeks for Pxn to start working. Do not stop treatment suddenly as this may cause a stomach upset, flu-like withdrawal symptoms and sleep disturbance. Avoid consuming alcohol when taking the Pxn, as it may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness. If your doctor asks you to stop Pxn, you should reduce the dose slowly over 4 weeks. The addiction/dependence potential of Pxn is very less. You may develop anxiety during initiation of therapy.

Nausea, Headache, Diarrhoea, Fatigue.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Pxn 25mg Tablet SR- 10 may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Pxn 25mg Tablet SR is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressant. It works by increasing the levels of serotonin, a chemical messenger in the brain. This improves mood and physical symptoms in depression and relieves symptoms of panic and obsessive disorders.
