How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Racigyl O 15 mg/50 mg Dry Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Racigyl O 15 mg/50 mg Dry Syrup is a combination of two medicines: Racecadotril and ofloxacin which treat diarrhoea. Racecadotril is an enkephalinase inhibitor which has anti-secretory effects. It reduces the secretion of water and electrolytes from the intestine. This helps reduce the amount of fluid lost from the body in diarrhoea. Ofloxacin is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. This treats your infection.
