Pregnancy interaction:

Reziz 12.5 mg/250 mg Suspension may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Fatigue, Feeling of fullness, Dizziness, Headache, Mouth sore, Skin rash.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Reziz Suspension- 10ml may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Reziz 12.5 mg/250 mg Suspension is a combination of two medicines: Pyrimethamine and Sulphadoxine which treat malaria. Pyrimethamine is an antiparasitic medicine which works by increasing the levels of haeme in the blood, a substance toxic to the malarial parasite. This kills the parasite and stops the infection from spreading. Sulphadoxine is an antibiotic which stops the bacteria from producing folic acid, a nutrient required for bacterial multiplication.
