Pregnancy interaction:

Ritocom 50 mg/200 mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Side Effects:

Altered taste, Headache, Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Stomach pain, Increased liver enzymes, Increased blood lipid level, Peripheral neuropathy (tingling and numbness of feet and hand).

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ritocom 50 mg/200 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Ritocom 50 mg/200 mg Tablet is a combination of two anti-HIV medicines: Ritonavir and Lopinavir. They work by interfering with an enzyme (protease), which is required by HIV-infected cells to make new viruses. This stops the production of new viruses.
