Pregnancy interaction:

Roxy Mucolite 150 mg/30 mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Roxy Mucolite 150 mg/30 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Roxy Mucolite 150 mg/30 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Roxithromycin and Ambroxol which treat respiratory tract infection associated with excessive mucus (phlegm). Roxithromycin is a macrolide antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins which are required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Ambroxol is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Addition of Ambroxol enhances the antibacterial effect of Roxithromycin.
