Interactions / Warnings:

Taking diclofenac with alcohol can increase your risk of stomach bleeding.

Pregnancy interaction:

Spafast D 2 mg/37.5 mg Injection is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.

Side Effects:

Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Heartburn, Stomach pain / epigastric pain, Loss of appetite.

How to use:

Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self administer.

How it works:

Spafast D 2 mg/37.5 mg Injection is a combination of two medicines: Thiocolchicoside and Diclofenac, which relieve pain and relax the muscles. Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centres in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and to improve pain and movement of muscles. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).
