Interactions / Warnings:

Taking Dicyclomine+Paracetamol / Acetaminophen with alcohol can cause liver damage.

Pregnancy interaction:

Spasmex 20 mg/500 mg Syrup is probably safe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Spasmex 20 mg/500 mg Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Spasmex 20 mg/500 mg Syrup is a combination of two medicines: Dicyclomine and Paracetamol / Acetaminophen which relieve abdominal pain. Dicyclomine is an anti-cholinergic which relaxes the muscles in the stomach and gut (intestine) and stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms). By doing this, it relieves cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort. Paracetamol / Acetaminophen is an analgesic (pain reliever) and anti-pyretic (fever reducer) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever and pain.
