Stefi 200mg Tablet is a cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections affecting the lungs, throat, and urinary tract - the kidneys, bladder, ureters, or urethra. It is also used to treat a sexually transmitted infection caused by Neisseria gonorrhoea bacteria that infects both men and women. This syrup kills or stops the growth of bacteria causing the infection. It is not effective against infections caused by viruses.

A: Stefi is a cephalosporin antibiotic used for treating many infections, for eg infections of the ear, throat (e.g. tonsillitis, pharyngitis), chest and lungs (e.g. bronchitis, pneumonia) and urinary tract (e.g. cystitis and kidney infections).
Q: Is Stefi used for diarrhea?
A: Stefi has not been indicated for the treatment of diarrhea. Please talk to your doctor if you have diarrhea before taking any antibiotics.

A: Yes, Stefi belongs to a group of antibiotics called 'cephalosporins'.
Q: Is Stefi safe for infants?
A: Safety of Stefi in children less than 6 months of age (includes premature and newborn infants) has not been established. Please consult your doctor before starting any antibiotics in children.
