Description:

Taxone XP 1000 mg/125 mg Injection is a combination medicine used to treat a variety of bacterial infections such as community-acquired pneumonia, lower respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and skin structure infections, etc. caused by susceptible bacteria. This medicine should be used with caution in patients less than 12 years of age.

How it works:

Taxone XP 1000 mg/125 mg Injection is a combination of two medicines: Ceftriaxone and Tazobactum. Ceftriaxone is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Tazobactum is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Ceftriaxone against bacteria.
