Pregnancy interaction:

Telbihep 600mg Tablet is probably safe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.

Expert advice:

Do consult your doctor if you have a kidney problem, liver transplant or have liver cirrhosis. Contact your doctor immediately in case of persistent unexplained muscle pain, joint pain, weakness, numbness/tingling in arms and legs. Do not use telbivudine during pregnancy and breast-feeding. If you have hepatitis B and become pregnant, consult your doctor about how you can best protect your baby.

Side Effects:

Fatigue, Headache, Nausea, Decreased appetite, Indigestion, Fever, Feeling of discomfort, Dizziness, Muscle pain, Joint pain, Abdominal distension, Insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), Rash, Back pain, Liver damage.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Telbihep 600mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
