Interactions / Warnings:

Taking Dicyclomine+Paracetamol / Acetaminophen+Tramadol with alcohol can cause liver damage.

Pregnancy interaction:

Topspas 20 mg/500 mg/37.5 mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Topspas 20 mg/500 mg/37.5 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Topspas 20 mg/500 mg/37.5 mg Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Dicyclomine, Paracetamol and Tramadol. Dicyclomine is an anti-cholinergic which relaxes the muscles in the stomach and gut (intestine) and stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms). By doing this, it relieves cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and anti-pyretic (fever reducer) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever and pain. Tramadol is an opioid analgesic (pain reliever) which works by blocking transmission of pain signals to the brain to lower pain perception.
