Interactions / Warnings:

Tricolam 1000mg Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heartbeat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure with alcohol (Disulfiram reactions).

Pregnancy interaction:

Tricolam 1000mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Expert advice:

Always take the complete course of treatment, as advised by your doctor even if you feel better. It may cause side effects like nausea, stomach upset, and a metallic taste in the mouth. If you are using Tricolam in a high dose or for a prolonged time, there is a risk of more side effects, like nerve damage. You should not drink alcohol during or for 48 hours after treatment. You may develop nausea, vomiting, flushing and headache if you take it together. Inform your doctor if you have a liver disease. Your dose may need to be adjusted in severe liver disease.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tricolam 1000mg Tablet- 10 may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Tricolam 1000mg Tablet is an antibiotic. It kills the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging the DNA.
