Triglyd 300mg Capsule may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Expert advice:

Medication of choice for lowering triglyceride levels in the blood. Can reduce triglycerides by up to 50%. Regular exercise and low-fat diet further help to lower levels of fat in the blood. Take Triglyd half an hour before meals. Notify your doctor if you are more tired than usual, do not feel hungry, or if you have yellow eyes, skin or dark urine. Do not discontinue Triglyd without consulting your doctor even if you feel better. Avoid alcohol consumption (includes wine, beer, and liquor).

Increased liver enzymes, Vomiting, Nausea, Abdominal pain, Diarrhoea, Flatulence.
