Interactions / Warnings:

Taking Mefenamic acid with alcohol increases the risk of stomach bleeding.

Pregnancy interaction:

Tuela 80 mg/250 mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tuela 80 mg/250 mg Tablet- 8 may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Tuela 80 mg/250 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: drotaverine and mefenamic acid which relieves abdominal pain and cramps. Drotaverine is an anti-spasmodic medicine which relieves spasms associated with smooth muscles. Mefenamic acid is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).
