Interactions / Warnings:

Uvex OZ 250 mg/500 mg Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heartbeat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure with alcohol (Disulfiram reactions).

Pregnancy interaction:

Uvex OZ 250 mg/500 mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.

Side Effects:

Nausea, Loss of appetite, Dizziness, Headache.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Uvex OZ 250 mg/500 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Uvex OZ 250 mg/500 mg Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Levofloxacin and Ornidazole.tLevofloxacin kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. Ornidazole kills the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging the DNA. Together, they treat your infection effectively.
