Interactions / Warnings:

WORMECTOL 400MG/6MG TABLET may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.

Pregnancy interaction:

WORMECTOL 400MG/6MG TABLET may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Side Effects:

Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Loss of appetite, Increased liver enzymes, Itching, Dizziness, Swelling of lymph nodes.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Vormectol Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

WORMECTOL 400MG/6MG TABLET is a combination of two antiparasitic medicines: Ivermectin and Albendazole. Ivermectin works by binding to muscle and nerve cells of worms, causing their paralysis and death. Albendazole works by keeping the worms from absorbing sugar (glucose), so that they lose energy and die. This treats your infection.
