Information about Widcef 1.5gm Injection- 10ml

Description:

Widcef 1.5gm Injection- 10ml is a cephalosporin antibiotic. It is used to treat bacterial infections affecting the lungs, nose, throat, ears, skin and urinary tract - the kidneys, bladder, ureters, or urethra. It is also used to treat a sexually transmitted infection caused by Neisseria gonorrhoea bacteria that infects both men and women. This injection kills or stops the growth of bacteria causing the infection. It is not effective against infections caused by viruses.

It is generally safe to consume alcohol with Widcef 1.5gm Injection- 10ml

Pregnancy interaction:

Widcef 1.5gm Injection- 10ml is probably safe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.

How it works:

Widcef 1.5gm Injection- 10ml is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body.
