Interactions / Warnings:

Taking Naproxen with alcohol can increase the risk of stomach bleeding caused by naproxen.

Pregnancy interaction:

Xenadom 10 mg/500 mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Side Effects:

Headache, Indigestion, Flu-like symptoms, Dryness in mouth.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Xenadom 500 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Xenadom 10 mg/500 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Naproxen and Domperidone. Naproxen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the region in the brain that controls vomiting. It increases the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to move more easily through the stomach.
