Information about Zambri 5mg Tablet

Description:

Zambri 5mg Tablet is an antihypertensive drug specifically used in the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) (WHO class 1), a condition characterized by high blood pressure in the vessels carrying blood from the heart to the lungs. It is also used in combination with tadalafil to reduce progression of the disease and improve exercise tolerance. Female patients are advised to undergo a pregnancy test to exclude pregnancy before beginning treatment with this medicine.

Pregnancy interaction:

Zambri 5mg Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy.Human and animal studies have shown significant adverse effects on the foetus. Please consult your doctor.

Can help improve your quality of life and exercise ability. Notify your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive or breastfeeding. It is necessary to get routine blood tests done to check for anaemia and to assess the functioning of your liver.

Headache, Dizziness, Palpitations, Shortness of breath, Running nose, Feeling sick, Diarrhoea, Fatigue.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Zambri 5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Zambri 5mg Tablet is an endothelin receptor antagonist. It works by suppressing the action of endothelin, a natural substance that tightens the blood vessels and prevents normal blood flow in patients who have pulmonary hypertension.
