Description:

Zeet P Syrup is a combination medicine used to treat cough. It thins the mucus in the nose and windpipe, making it easier to cough out. This medicine also relieves allergic symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, throat irritation.

How it works:

Zeet P Syrup is a combination of four medicines: Ammonium Chloride, Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide, Guaifenesin and Levocetirizine. Ammonium Chloride and Guaifenesin are expectorants. They work by decreasing the stickiness of airway secretions and help in their removal from the airways. Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of cough centre in the brain. Levocetirizine is an antiallergic. It blocks the action of a chemical messenger (histamine) which may trigger cough due to allergy.
