Description:

Zepro M 0.25 mg/10 mg Tablet is a combination medicine which may be used to treat anxiety, panic disorders like unexpected extreme fear and tension due to stress, and prevention of migraine. It is also used for treating high blood pressure and relieving tremors in anxiety patients. Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly as it may cause withdrawal symptoms like seizures, aggressive behavior, blurred vision, etc.

Interactions / Warnings:

Taking Propranolol with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.

Pregnancy interaction:

Zepro M 0.25 mg/10 mg Tabletis unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.

How it works:

Zepro M 0.25 mg/10 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Alprazolam and Propranolol.tAlprazolam is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of GABA, a chemical messenger which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in brain. Propranolol is a beta blocker which blocks the action of certain chemical messengers on the heart and blood vessels. This reduces heart rate, blood pressure, and strain on the heart.
