Description:

Atecard D Tabletis a combination medicine used for the treatment of high blood pressure. Frequent monitoring of blood pressure and electrolytes level is necessary during treatment with this medicine. How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Atecard D Tablet Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Atecard D Tablet is a combination of two blood-pressure lowering medicines: Atenolol and Chlorthalidone. tAtenolol is a beta blocker which works specifically on the heart to reduce heart rate and make the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic which lowers blood pressure by removing extra water and certain electrolytes from the body. Over time it also relaxes blood vessels and improves blood flow.
