It may also be used for the treatment of infections such as bone and joint infections, skin, and soft tissue infections, intra-abdominal infections, bacterial septicemia, etc. caused by susceptible bacterial species. This medicine should be used with caution in patients with kidney diseases due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects.
