Description:

METXL TRIO 10MG/25MG/40MG TABLET- 10Â is a combination of medicines used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) when a single medication is not effective. It helps to lower high blood pressure thus reduces chances of future heart attack and stroke.

Interactions / Warnings:

Taking Metoprolol with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.

Pregnancy interaction:

METXL TRIO 10MG/25MG/40MG TABLET- 10 may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. How it works:

METXL TRIO 10MG/25MG/40MG TABLET- 10Â is a combination of three medicines: Cilnidipine, metoprolol and telmisartan. They work by different mechanisms to provide better control of blood pressure when single or dual therapy is not effective. Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB) and telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). They work by widening and relaxing the blood vessels, thereby lowering blood pressure. Metoprolol is a beta blocker that works specifically on the heart to slow down the heart rate.
