Wepox 4000IU Injection may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Expert advice:

Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have a history of blood disorders, cancer, heart disease, high blood pressure, seizures, or kidney disease. Inform your doctor if you experience chest pain, breathing problems, sudden/severe headache, or difficulty with vision, speech, or walking. Requires regular BP monitoring. Requires weekly haemoglobin(Hb) level monitoring when treatment starts and monthly thereafter. Hb level should not exceed 1 g/dL in any 14-day span. Do not discontinue treatment without consulting your doctor, even if you feel better.

Side Effects:

Pain in extremity, Increased blood pressure, Hypersensitivity.

How it works:

Wepox 4000IU Injection is an erythropoiesis-stimulating agent (ESA). It works by stimulating the bone marrow (soft tissue inside the bones which produces red blood cells) to produce more red blood cells.
